1. Introduction

Welcome to PlatedLens ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using our website at platedlens.com and our AI food photography service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The Service

PlatedLens provides an AI-powered image transformation service that restyls food photographs using artificial intelligence. Users upload images, select a style, and receive a transformed image generated by our AI model.

3. Account Registration

To use the service you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Tokens and Payments

PlatedLens operates on a token-based credit system. Tokens are purchased in advance and consumed when generating images. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Tokens do not expire. Prices are displayed in EUR and may include applicable taxes collected by Stripe.

New accounts receive 3 free standard generations upon registration. These free generations are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for tokens or cash.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use PlatedLens to:

Upload images you do not own or have rights to use
Generate content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
Resell or redistribute the service without written permission

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the original images you upload. By uploading an image, you grant PlatedLens a limited license to process it for the purpose of generating your styled result. We do not claim ownership of your images or generated outputs.

The PlatedLens platform, brand, and interface are owned by us and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy or reproduce any part of the platform without permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated results will meet your expectations. AI-generated results may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlatedLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days prior to the claim.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Unused tokens at the time of voluntary deletion are forfeited.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Slovak Republic.
